Fundraising by Getting Involved

Make a Donation

Every donation, large or small, makes a meaningful difference. Contributions to the Middlesex 2031 Festival Appeal go directly towards supporting the charitable aims of the Festival, with funds paid to the Masonic Charitable Foundation in line with United Grand Lodge of England guidance.

Regular giving, one-off donations, or event-based contributions all help us build momentum and maximise our collective impact over the life of the Festival.

Host Events

One of the most enjoyable ways to get involved is by hosting or supporting Festival events. From dining evenings and social gatherings to sponsored activities, these events not only raise vital funds but also strengthen fellowship across the Province.

The Festival Committee is happy to support Lodges and Chapters with ideas, guidance, and practical help to make events successful and rewarding for everyone involved.

Spread the Word

Get Your Fellow Brethren Involved – awareness is key to the success of the Festival. By sharing information, encouraging participation, and leading by example, you can help inspire others to get involved.

Talk to your fellow brethren, promote Festival activities within your Lodge or Chapter, and help ensure that everyone understands the purpose, importance, and lasting benefits of supporting the Middlesex 2031 Festival Appeal.

Middlesex 2031 Festival

A Province to be proud of

Middlesex Shines Bright

Since 1 April 2020, the end of our last Festival, The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF, the Freemasons’ charity) has granted phenomenal support for Middlesex Freemasons and their families, with 448 grants made, totalling £1,567,337.

This remarkable assistance includes:

  • £360,005 for children, young people and education
  • £367,135 for health, care and wellbeing
  • £840,197 for daily living costs

But the generosity didn’t stop there. In addition, Middlesex has continued to make a powerful impact in the wider community. Since April 2020, 53 grants have supported 46 local charities, providing a further £444,476 in funding.

That’s a combined total of £2,011,813 directly benefiting Middlesex Freemasons, their families, and local causes. A remarkable testament to the compassion, generosity, and commitment that define our Province.

These achievements underscore the incredible power of collective effort. None of this would be possible without the unwavering generosity and dedication of Freemasons across the country. Every fundraising event, every donation, and every act of kindness has contributed to this monumental success.

Generosity and Dedication

So, let’s take a moment to celebrate our Middlesex Province and the profound impact it has had over the years. Brethren, your commitment is a beacon of hope and charity, shining brightly in our communities.

Together, you embody the very essence of Masonic charity by making the world a better place through thoughtful stewardship and heartfelt care, one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you, Middlesex , your service has made us all proud.

Strengthening Middlesex’s Local Impact

To deepen our charitable connections across the Province, from the 1st April 2026, the MCF has committed to allocating 25% of all donations made to the 2031 Festival specifically for Middlesex to distribute. This ensures that every brother in Middlesex can have a direct, lasting, and meaningful influence on how future MCF funds are used to support local people, local causes, and local communities.

Like all Provinces, local charities have received numerous grants over the years since the MCF was formed in April 2016. Our grants programme has benefitted over 50 local charities in Middlesex supporting a wide variety of causes and creating an impact on the lives of hundreds of people.

The MCF recognise that Provinces can play a crucial part in ensuring that these grants support local communities in the most impactful way, identifying real areas of need and charities that require the most support.

To help Provinces achieve closer links with these charities, the MCF will allocate a percentage of all donations made to the 2031 Festival specifically for the Province to distribute. Giving our donors the opportunity to have a direct influence over how MCF funds are used.
