Last year he walked the Camino Francés from St Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, a 600 mile walk.

This year to celebrate the commencement of the Middlesex Festival 2026, it is his intention to walk the Camino Portugués from Porto in Portugal to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. A journey of approximately 170 miles over 12 days commencing on the 11th April.

This route offers a mix of coastal views and inland landscapes, merging with the Central Route at Redondela in Spain before reaching Santiago. He will be carrying a 6 kilogram pack and staying in Albergue’s (local hostels) as he follows the pilgrims trail to the Cathedral in Santiago.
